Let me start by saying that I don’t think I am your typical bride. Sydne,March 2015

I spent about 45 minutes in the first dress boutique I visited, and in that time, I chose a dress, veil and belt.  My dress happened to be a beautiful Monique Lhuillier strapless gown.  Once I had the dress (and the stuff that went with it), I put it in the closet and pretty much forgot I had it until all of a sudden my wedding was eight weeks out.  Knowing very little about the process, I called the Beverly Hills Monique Lhuillier store and they referred me to Maradee!

During our first conversation, I am pretty sure she thought I was a crazy person.  I didn’t really remember what my dress looked like, I only wanted to come in for two fittings (period!), and I hadn’t even thought about shoes, which I obviously needed for the fitting.  I grudgingly set up my first appointment.  When I got there, ten pairs of amazing shoes awaited me!  Not only did I not have to go and buy the shoes in the first place, but I needed a bigger size and Maradee took care of all of it for me!  I think that I realized at that moment that we were going to get along just fine.

Anyways, on to the dress.  Maradee was meticulous in perfecting all the details of my dress.  From the many layers of tulle, to getting the belt just right, my dress fit like a glove.  My bustle was perfect and Maradee made a video for my sister to watch and she had me bustled in less than five minutes.

We ended up having three fittings in all (we compromised), none more than 40 minutes long.  However, at the very end, I must say that I was sad to be done.  From the chocolates she gave me when my dress was complete, to re-arranging her schedule to accommodate my meetings, I can’t speak highly enough of my experience with Maradee.

For all these reasons, I want to say an enormous thank you for all of your help and hard work with me and my dress!  Lastly, I hope that sometime in the near future, I will need another beautiful dress altered so I can come back to you (let’s hope it isn’t for a second wedding)!
