After our wedding was over my husband said he doesn't know what I would have done without Maradee. I don't know either. Traci,December 2016

After I learned that the Panache in Beverly Hills would not alter a dress not purchased from their store, I was referred to Maradee. I reached out to Maradee almost 9 months prior to my wedding because I wanted to make sure she was familiar with my dress designer. The dress I purchased had intricate beading and rhinestones all over the bodice and had a detachable train. She emailed me back immediately and said she had worked on Inbal Dror dresses before and was very confident that she could do all the alterations on my wedding dress.

When I realized what an amazing stylist/seamstress she was I started thinking about all the possibilities. I saw on her Instagram that she had reconstructed a bride’s mother’s wedding dress to look more modern and it looked fabulous. I then asked her if she could reconstruct my mother’s wedding dress into a getting ready bridal robe. She of course made a gorgeous robe.

We started on the alterations for my wedding dress in January for my June wedding. She made me feel comfortable and reassured me she would do everything possible to make sure my dress fit me exactly the way I wanted it to. Since my dress was a blush/nude/cream color she also suggested I have her make my veil since anything I purchased at a store probably would not match my dress. She made an incredible veil that not only matched the color of my wedding dress but also the shape.

Maradee also did the alterations on my mother’s dress for the wedding. This was no small task. She had to completely re-do the zipper in the back. She also did the alterations on my rehearsal dinner dress and my reception dress.┬áMy reception dress arrived from Australia which was supposed to be a custom dress made based on my measurements. The dress came in with AA cup chest pads and I am a D. Needless to say Maradee saved the day once again.

I also hired Maradee for the day of service. When she initially told me about this service she provides I was immediately sold but with all the wedding expenses my fiance said to wait a little. After about our 2nd fitting I realized how high maintenance my dress was and knew right then that I had to have Maradee at my wedding. Let me tell you, I don’t know what I would have done without Maradee and Rachel by my side.

The day I got married it was probably 100 degrees. Maradee and her assistant Rachel were by my side the entire day. They arrived with my dress, steamed it and styled it to be photographed. Maradee also steamed my grooms suit, got a stain out of my groomsman’s tie, and held my 3 foot long train through the vineyard.┬áMaradee and her assistant had straws, mints, lip gloss, deodorant, and anything you could ever possibly imaging you would need on your wedding day. After our wedding was over, my husband said he doesn’t know what I would have done without Maradee. I don’t know either.

Having her there on the day of my wedding was the best thing I did for my wedding. I also had 3 dress changes and she was there to help make sure that was an easy and quick transition.

I LOVE MARADEE. Thank you so much for everything.
